Best Christmas lights for a GREEN holiday

While most people are dreaming of a White or Blue Christmas, the team at Sargeant's Roofing dream in GREEN, energy efficiency and a better planet for all. Doing your part doesn't end at the shore or in our forests, we believe it is that conscientious discipline to recycle and to think of your footprint before you buy. What you choose to support gets your vote, so how are you voting?

What for why, some choices are just easy. So let your outdoor Christmas lights be one of those choices.

Touch it once and be done is a process we live by here are Sargeant's Roofing, that is why we follow eco-friendly processes and choose to use the holiday decor and lighting that we do. By choosing high-quality products that are also ethically sourced, we know that likelihood that we need to install the decor and lighting more than once is low. The decor is enjoyed by many on your home and out of the landfills.

So if you haven't caught on by now, we are talking about eco-friendly holiday lighting. From consciously  choosing to use recycled materials to the energy efficiency of our LED string lights. We are conscious about decking the halls but not at the cost of the health of our planet. So what does that mean for you? I am glad you asked, it means brighter bulbs that last the trust test of time and leave a lasting memory not a lasting foot print.

LED - $1.25/bulb Incandescent - $0.24/bulb
We use LED string lights give off little to no heat, they are 92% more efficient than their incandescent string light counter parts. They last 15 times longer, that is time that they are on your home and provide you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday season. LED's average 50,000-100,000 hours, where incandescent lights typically last 1,200 hours at most. But incandescent lights are cheap to buy but much less efficient and burn power so the cost can more than quadruple over their short life time as well as causing you to spend more trips to the dump. LED's are more expensive initially but their longevity and energy efficiency means they are cost efficient, and better for the environment.

Our LED's will be lit, and hopefully it won't be alone, this holiday season.
